I am a relatively new amateur artist, having only started formal art lessons in Autumn 2024.

I am based in Dorset and take inspiration from the beauty of the landscape and abundant wildlife on the south coast. I like to use bright colours and have attended many in person and online classes in a whole range of art techniques, which has been great fun. 

Whilst I am a mixed media artist and enjoy dabbling with different textures and materials, I am becoming more and more a soft pastel artist.

My art is mainly for me, I am not selling anything. Several of my art works have been gifted to, and are displayed by, family and friends in their homes.

The 'Art Studio'

The art studio was originally a garden office from my working years. It was installed during the pandemic in July 2020, when I was working from home. Now I have retired, it has been exciting to repurpose it and begin a new journey in this space.
