Art is Art but Craft?

Whilst craft is totally Art, I never imagined to actually be doing it myself. I admired others that did craft, but it was not for me. Until it was.....

I have lots of zoom calls and video calls so I crafted a Christmas backdrop for 2025. A friend said "nice to see your understated nod to christmas".

MASK. July 2025. The things we mask, the concept of masking invisible disabilities, difference, poor mental health, exhaustion and pain. The mask is for the things we dont say, or feel we can't say. The things we repress and hide, and in doing so, how masking activity takes its toll.

This mask I created as part of a national project where 20 or so people created a mask to show the things they share and the things they hide and the cost of masking. The exhibition is currently on hold and I won't say much about it, as it is someone else's overall project. This was my personal contribution but not my idea or concept, the project belongs to Sam C.
