A love letter to the Scilly Isles. July 2026. Watercolour and fineliner on A3 watercolour paper. Set accross the Scilly isles flag. This was a project whilst my hand is mending. Can't wait to get back to Pastels.

Arrival Hugh Town, St Mary's. July 2026. Soft Pastel on pastelmat. Arrived on the ferry struck by aquamarine and milky blues layered in the harbour. Looked unreal, had to capture it.

2 weeks post op, still in plaster. Finally doing one handed art! July 2026. Watercolour & pastel. This is for Barbara. It is very similar to the other picture, but this one's for me. The other one is going to Barbara's partner who inspired the original painting.

UPDATE 7th July 2026. Hand and lower arm in plaster due to planned surgery. Hoping to do some single handed art at some point. Watch this space.

Solar Stella. Part of the series. The largest piece I have ever produced. May 2025. Canvas board, acrylic, modeling paste, cheesecloth, inks etc.

This was meant to be soft pastels, but I am in Spain and the paper was too hot to touch to blend them. Like feet on hot sand. Pastel pencils did the job on top of the watercolour underpainting.
