The sky is not really blue. Pastels June 2025.

Went to a sky colour workshop using soft pastels. Lots of fun, had only 20 minutes to do each square and an alarm sounded! Useful lesson in working quick. I have not perfected them in any way, displaying in workshop format.

Bumble Bee June 2025 Watercolour, Brusho and Gouache. Had a bit of an explosion with the brusho, the art teacher helped me to rescue it and take some of the colour out. #still learning!

Grace June 2025. Acrylics, black fine liners and white posca pens. Spoiler alert! Grace will probably appear on every page.

Puffin June 2025 Watercolour. This is probably the closest I have ever got to a proper Watercolour. Was good to do and learnt loads

Cascade of Flowers, July 2025, acrylic  impasto. 

Went to a workshop to learn impasto painting, which involved adding modelling agents to acrylic paint. This thickens the paint to add layers. Also using palate knives etc to layer paint.

Went to a workshop to learn painting raindrops on glass. Abstract view through a car windscreen of oncoming traffic on a rainy day. Was really difficult to get the technique, I have had 2 attempts so far.
